Scotty had to work on New Years Eve (price he had to pay for our awesome Christmas vacation) I just figured I'd stay home, put the kids to bed, and enjoy some quiet me time. After talking to a couple friends who didn't have plans as well, we decided to all get together at our place. This way we wouldn't have to worry about getting babysitters (those are hard to come by on New Years) and we could still have something to do on New Years. We ended up playing some games, eating lots of delicious food, watching the countdown, all in all having a great time. (Plus Scotty got home at about 11:30, just in time to ring in the new year with us.)
